Perusing in PVD

On a recent walk in Providence, I coincidentally came across a Little Free Library on Fremont Street in Fox Point. To my joy and excitement, I took the opportunity to browse the selection of books contained within the vibrant blue walls of this little library. Amidst my perusing, distinct categories of books seemed to emerge. While there were other genres of books, the prevalent categories seemed to be baby books, romance novels, a large selection of books in Chinese, and an above average amount of books about ballet. Whether these trends emerged by complete coincidence, or by one particularly ballet obsessed person, it was definitely a unique mix of genres and novels. Compared to my prior stop at the Mansfield Train Station Little Free Library, this collection of books in a quiet neighborhood in Providence seemed to cater to the needs and interests of the residents, whether that is a young couple, new parents, or just a casual passerby. Happy Browsing!
