The Library Land Project

Sometimes its a little funny how fate works. A few months ago I was contacted by a family-friend who connected me with two people on the basis that we both shared an interest and passion for libraries. A few weeks later, I met up with the masterminds behind The Library Land Project, Adam Zand and Greg Peverill-Conti, at the Boston Public Library.

Outside of Boston Public Library

Being co-founders of their own PR agency, Adam and Greg had started working in libraries as an alternative to a traditional office or coffee shops. However, while using libraries as their work space, they discovered that each building had unique characteristics and stories that shaped the environments they were working in. The duo started traveling across Massachusetts with the hope of visiting and working in every library in the state - of which they've visited over 160 so far. The Library Land Project evolved as a way to share their own perspectives and reviews on working in individual libraries and promote the importance of public libraries overall.

I am excited to say I will be helping as an intern for The Library Land Project. It is rewarding to collaborate with people with similar interests and to work to help promote the necessity and value of public libraries throughout Massachusetts and the country.
